Sony is the new film studio to report major changes to its release schedule due to the pandemic COVID-19

Tentpole movies like Borderlands, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and Peter Rabbit 2 are all having massive delays, leaving Kevin Hart's Fatherhood as one of the few big titles on Sony's 2020 schedule — and this was pushed forward from January to October itself.

The planned third Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man seems to be unaffected; the release date of the Far from Home sequel has already been set as July 16, 2021. Sony's expected movies July 2020, Ghostbusters: Afterlife and the Morbius of Jared Leto, both pushed into next March.
